Contemporary Living Inspired by Egyptian Architecture

RIWAQ Residences is a contemporary residential community located in New Cairo, Egypt. The project reinterprets the character of traditional Egyptian and Arab architecture through a refined, modern design language suited to contemporary family living.

The development features a collection of attached villas arranged along landscaped, pedestrian-friendly streets. Warm natural stone, textured plaster, deep-set openings, shaded balconies and timber screens create a distinctive architectural identity while improving privacy and solar protection.

Each residence is designed with a gradual transition from the public street to the private home through landscaped entrance courtyards, shaded thresholds and carefully framed outdoor spaces. The architecture and landscape work together to create a calm, cohesive neighbourhood that encourages walking, social interaction and a strong sense of community.
