URBAN COURT TOWERS

A Layered Mixed-Use Workplace Destination

URBAN COURT TOWERS is a contemporary mixed-use development that brings together a vibrant commercial podium, two independent office towers and a sequence of landscaped terraces. Conceived as an integrated urban destination, the project combines retail, dining, flexible workplaces and public spaces within a unified architectural composition.

Project Name: Urban Court Towers
Location: New Cairo, Egypt
Project Type: Mixed-Use Commercial and Administrative Development
Architectural Style: Contemporary High-Tech and Biophilic Architecture
Project Stage: Schematic Design
Year: 2020

The development is composed of an active commercial podium supporting two office towers of varying heights. The towers rise as a series of stepped volumes, creating a distinctive skyline while maintaining a comfortable relationship with the surrounding streets and public realm.

The building setbacks are transformed into landscaped terraces that extend the workplace beyond the enclosed office floor. These elevated gardens provide informal meeting areas, outdoor lounges and shared social spaces with open views across the city.

The office floors are designed as adaptable and naturally illuminated environments that can accommodate a variety of working models. Open workstations, collaboration areas and informal lounges are arranged along the glazed façades, maximizing daylight and visual connection with the surrounding city.

The façade combines high-performance glazing with slender vertical fins that control solar exposure and establish a consistent architectural rhythm. The vertical expression enhances the proportions of the towers while maintaining transparency and panoramic views from the interior spaces.

The massing strategy establishes a clear hierarchy between the shared podium and the two administrative towers. A series of gradual setbacks reduces the visual scale of the development, creates usable roof terraces and allows the towers to respond differently to their height, orientation and surrounding urban context.
